composite rear leaf
Explorer rear suspensions are too stiff for many driving conditions causing an overly harsh ride. The answer - these trick composite rear overload leaf springs. Their spring rate is adjustable, via bumper length and location, to compensate for heavy use or rear end sag. Plus the composite material acts as a damper for the stock spring. The result is a smoother, more comfortable ride with no loss of capacity. Bolt on installation replacing the factory overload spring leaf. Not recommended with lowered suspension. Fits 91-01 4 door.
Polyurethane bushings replace stock rubber suspension bushings. They are stiffer than stock rubber parts to improve suspension "tightness" and feel, yet they are soft enough to allow a reasonable ride. Plus they are long lived and unaffected by oil, salt or other corrosives. Sway bar bushings reduce body roll and are easy to install. The other bushings may require professional assistance for installation. Fits 91-94.
radius arm bushings
Radius Arm Bushings isolate the arms that locate the front suspension in a fore and aft direction. The stock parts are subject to rapid waer which causes wander and looseness in the steering, as well as clicking and clunking. Professional installation is recommended. These bushings are a heavy duty replacement kit manufactured by Moog. Fits 91-94.
