Polyurethane bushings replace stock rubber suspension bushings. They are stiffer than stock rubber parts to improve suspension "tightness" and feel, yet they are soft enough to allow a reasonable ride. Plus they are long lived and unaffected by oil, salt or other corrosives. Bushings may require professional assistance for installation.
